- Graduated in medicine in 1964 from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad- Worked in UK for 5 years and returned to India and joined Govt Health services- Worked in various capacities at Bhadrahalam and Hyderabad and retired in 1999- Consultant for various studies and projects since. Presently chairman- Durgabai Deshmukh hospital and chief advisor- HMRI- Authored two training modules and two booklets og TB and plague- Tavelled widely both in India and Asia
